Day Hiking Around San Francisco

One of my favorite things to do in San Francisco is going on a day hike to any of San Francisco’s famous outdoor landmarks. Luckily, I know I have my Merrell Boots from Zappos to keep my feet dry, protected, and comfy in any situation. To top it all off, they’re super stylish - which is hard to pull off for reliable waterproof boots!

The Marin Headlands is a beautiful area right across the bay from San Francisco. There are all sorts of trails, lakes, beaches, and redwood forests within a couple hours that you can pick from. There is also an epic view of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco at the top of Battery Spencer. It’s a great place for sunset, especially if it’s not a foggy day. At night, the view from Battery Spencer is gorgeous well.

The other place I love visiting is the Presidio, one of the largest green spaces in San Francisco. Located inside the Presidio is the Wood Line, a beautiful art piece meant to blend with nature.
